ISLAMABAD, Aug 28 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday issued a notice on the bail plea of former Member National Assembly (MNA) Ali Wazir in a terrorism case and sought arguments on the next hearing.
The former MNA, Ali Wazir, currently in Adiala Jail on judicial remand in a terrorism case.
A division bench of the IHC, led by Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Babar Sattar, heard the plea.
Ali Wazir’s lawyer, Advocate Ataullah Kundi, appeared before the court.
The court has issued a notice to the police, asking for a response by the next hearing. The anti-terrorism court previously denied Ali Wazir’s bail.
The court adjourned the hearing till next week.
