Lack of quorum leads to adjournment of Senate session

ISLAMABAD, Jun 20 (APP): The Senate session on Thursday was adjourned due to lack of quorum to meet again on Friday (June 21st) at 10:30 am.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Falak Naz pointed out the quorum as the House was taking recommendations on the Finance Bill 2024.

The Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan Nasar ordered for the headcount whereas the house was not in order and therefore the proceedings were adjourned.
